Why Powers? AAHA Accreditation

In 2010, Powers Pet Emergency and Specialty earned accreditation from the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). This is notable because only 15% of all small-animal hospitals in the U.S. and Canada have earned this prestigious distinction, which requires a rigorous onsite evaluation every three years.

Unlike human hospitals, not all animal hospitals are required to be accredited. At Powers, we undertook AAHA’s stringent accreditation process because we hold ourselves to a higher standard—and you can trust that your pet is receiving care at a hospital that’s demonstrated mastery of excellence in veterinary care.

Isn’t that what your pet deserves?

Extremely helpful and quick. They helped my dog and made sure to help me understand everything they did for her.
